History made today as Total_Noob released his 6.20 TN-A (HEN) earlier than expected. The PSP Go wit hthis 6.20 TN HEN can now run all homebrew games its not limited by HBL anymore thanks to this VSH kernal explot from TN
Firstly 6.20 TN-A (HEN) needs to be run on a PSP Go system with Firmware 6.20 and you’ll need HBL. Grab that below:
So if you haven’t got HBL already, grab the latest Half Byte Loader release here.
6.20 TN-A (HEN) Instructions:
Installation:
- Download the 6.20 TN (Below)
- Connect your PSP to the computer via USB
- Place your PSP in “USB mode” with the option “USB Connection”
- Right-click on the file you downloaded,
- Choose “Extract Files …”( WinRAR is advised)
- Choose like destination the letter assigned to your PSP from your computer.
- Press OK and wait extraction files,
- Leave the “USB Mode”on your PSP
- In the XMB go to PSP/GAME And start the Patapon 2 demo (DL save game Below) and run Half Byte Loader.
- In the menu of HEN, select HEN
- Wait a few seconds your PSP will reboot!
- You will be automatically returned to the XMB.
- Congratulations, now enjoy your homebrew.

PSP Go u CANNOT roll back the firmware it is NOT POSSIBLE to downgrade the firmware. PSP Go motherboards are different so it is harder to hack and NOT possible to rollback so this is y this moment is one of the greatest moments is psp history.

Hey there guys, I just recently brought a game over the PSN and it says I need version 6.31 to play it, ive got 6.20. I was wondering if there is a way to get around this or we I need to wait for a homebrew to come out?

Just a fast question, If I update my psp go with hen. 6.20 and say I decide in the future to go “legit” could I update my HEN 6.20 with say an official 7.0 or whatever?

Guys, if u update to anything above 6.20 the hen will not work. I would wait until total noob can port his hen over for 6.30 and 6.31 before deciding to update. At the moment the hen can only play homebrew games but

If u use google to search for an iso loader for 6.20 hen ull be surprised to see what u find *wink wink*. The 4 games thing is tempting but once u have upgraded you will not be able to downgrade the go as nothing has been developed yet.
If u install hen on 6.20 and say after a weeks u want to upgrade to official firmware then u should be able to do it via wifi as normal but the new firmware will patch the 6.20 hen.
consider all options before deciding what option u take.

its possible Gorav Bagga but i think we will be waiting a few weeks. everytime sony release a new firmware they patch the old exploits from the previous firmware. which means it takes longer for ppl like total_noob to find these new exploits and make a workable Hen. At the moment (as far as im aware) there is 6.30, 6.31 & 6.35 firmware so for each one of these total_noob will have to alter his Hen. fingers crossed it can be done but we just have to be patient.

Help!!!
When i follow the guide and boot the HEN through the HBL
my screen goes black and the psp turns off, when i boot it nothing happened x((((

same problem as BonoBo. I run the hbl and press (x) on HEN. then at the top left i see some flash of white text, and the PSP crashes. any suggestions?

I found problem you have to update HBL ( link is in one of the posts from site)
it worked for me then.
But when i have Firmware 6.20 TN and i turn off psp and turn on i got back
6.20 OFW , is this normal?? plz help meh xD

At the moment the psp go CANNOT be downgraded. You’re gonna have to wait until exploits are made for 6.35

I took a browse at psp-hacks and saw that there is no way to keep the hen running after restart…..the best thing to do is just keep you psp in standby when you dont use it….. it totally sucks though >__<

actually i found if u use the pause feature, and turn off your psp if you want to conintue on with that u can actually do it that way, or if u run the game that was paused then pause it and go back to menu, u can run other things. interesting Exploit there without the hen even running
