Wololo has once again released an update to HBL. JJS has found a way to increase the speed capabilities for your homebrew, however this can only be utilized through a trick that only the PSP GO! models can use (Good for us huh?). Take a look at the video to see these improvements with Daedalus (N64) running at faster speeds through HBL.

Don’t blame him or accuse him of illegal acts when sony did not create umd support I.E. I have 20 or so umds and can’t use them on the go so his inquiry is valid not all ISO/CSO files are used illegally.

Technically if you wanna talk illegal and legal, the idea that you wish to play those umd based games on your psp go without purchasing the digital copy would be illegal. whether or not you have purchased the umds the psp go is a completely different system. any games must be purchased over psn and to all the go owner’s horror at full price. as it seems that the games on psn are extremely higher than the store price unless it has been changed recently. Dive is completely correct when he states that HBL will never evolve into anything that will allow you to run iso/cso games. Wololo has made it crystal clear that he does not intend to help anyone with piracy on HBL meaning you will never be able to run iso cso through his work. if yoou are hoping for iso/cso support you might as well hope for the ps3 modchip and ps3 custom firmware from geohot as well while your at it.
P.S. thanks geohot for making sony remove otheros from all newer firmwares… dipshit

Koens loader is what your looking for, it is still in development, but when it’s done you should be able to play isos with that, and there is also a very slow process that allows the isos to be played on a windows emulator for the psp.

I installed my Patapon exploit right, since the hello world screen comes up when i start the save game, but why does my psp crash when i try to run the half bite loader? i tried everything already, but nothing works. it just keeps crashing.

just load patapon 2 save data and press twice R trigger ( when it ask u to do so) , and HBL will come up ….

Hi wololo I have a question. Have you ever heard of a French program called vermin 7? He ported a mobile windows 7 to the Internet radio on 6.00-6.20. I don’t know if it works on 6.30 but you should look at it and see if hbl could be ported the same way if you haven’t. Just a suggestion for the 6.30 users.

this reply is to dctravis, you dont know anything about illegal or elgal issue’s when he bought the umd disc he can download them to his computer to play with or anyhting, why do you think roms even exsist today, because most people owned nintendo games/sega.. please dont talk anything about elgal ot illegal has long has he got the umd version he can have the iso/cso files… if you dont belive me go to your local cop shop or ask your parents to cook you some bacon(for your trip there)

As for piracy, I completely condone it! However, someone will eventually come forward with a way into the firmware. It always happens, someone comes out from the shadows and releases a hack. So I’m sure that someday someone will release something.

Hmm I seem to have a problem with the save file, I would like to know if the game has to be a American version? Because the english saves are green, And the Amarican are Purple.. So I am guessing it is the versions..

Dctravis you’re wrong fair use law allow anyone owning an original copy of well anything digital is allow to create a duplicate of well again anything digital for the perposes of using the copy and storing away the original for safe keeping (this was in the 70s and yes I’m old and no this law hasn’t change) this way should anything happen to the copy all you needed to do was make another copy. The psp go is nothing more than a modified psp to be used without the UMD drive so that it would be more portable than previous models barring from that there is no difference. The problem is double edged that is to say the corporations like Sony which misrepresent, misuse, and abuse of copy right laws to force you to re-purchase a product (game) you already own and have a right to use on you psp which has a %99 os to the psp go. Sony should find this an easy fix by allowing those who have legally purchased the UMD a free digital copy. Now the downside of this is that piracy goes rampant when the public is forced to find there own method to excersize their fair use right. Another example of this is DVD & digital copies of the film. You can purchase a DVD then go home and burn it to another DVD them make a digital copy and place it on an iPod, pc, Mac, iPad etc… And you have committed no crime but, it you give away or sell the copy be it digital or otherwise that’s when you violate the fair use law and become a pirate.

you need to read around more. there are plenty of solid reasons devs won’t allow iso/cso loading. btw, koens project has been dead for a while now. they are being pretty gracious to allow emulators which are quite good and a lot of fun if you spent enough time on them.

yea its real unfortunate lol…ive read these messages and i dont support torrent iso’s, but people who had a psp 3000, have UMD’s, and got a Go cuz the 3000 got stolen (like me lol) could really use an ISO/CSO loader..i mean if it doesnt come to the Go its no big deal but it would be useful
