Check it out, Neon of Team Typhoon has just posted video proof of a PSP Go on Firmware 6.10 running a Homebrew Enabled Enviroment (HEN) So they got ChickHEN to work on a PSP Go, maybe through the Save Game exploit FreePlay talked off?
Watch the video and you’ll see its legit, Neon’s PSP Go running Sega CD game Sonic via homebrew emulator picodrive.
But there is a big but with this, its not going to be released claim Team Typoon. Its just a proof of concept….

Update guys.. I found the source code for the license file.. unfortunately, I don’t have time to tinker with it.. probably by next week.. I’m still figuring out how each file is unique or how do they become unique for a particular game.

@ whoever. that all sounds nice, but to prevent too much hype and publicity don’t mention any of your work until something substantial with proof is produced. don’t rope any programmers or devs unless you can interest them, not with words but with a working program. You don’t want n00bs flocking around you, bugging you and taking time out of you.

I see.. just like what they did to Alex and the rest.. ok.. thanks for the heads-up!

TO MAKE THE STORY SHORT IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITIES THAT PSP GO CAN BE HACK?
February 10, 2010 at 4:10 pm
It will be hacked when it will be hacked…
February 11, 2010 at 3:07 am
r!07ac….good advice, i agree because news spreads fast. dont want a lot of people getting to involved, look at 6.20-its awesome they found it with a umd but they should have waited because its spreading like a fire about the news of the find, and as stated on the web as soon as sony finds the umd its patched in a matter of hours……leasthttp://pspslimhacks.com/real-6-20-save-game-exploit-found-works-on-all-psps/ ….this is the link case anyone wants to read about what little was released for it.
February 11, 2010 at 3:12 am
r!07ac….good advice, i agree becaus the news spreads fast as fire and you dont want people gettint too involved, i mean look at 6.20 exploit-its already really popular. though i am happy that it was found and with a umd-but if sony finds the umd then it can be patched within hours…so good advice indeed

mybad, didnt mean to post this again
February 11, 2010 at 9:07 pm
Note to papison – from my rekoning the go has just as good, if not better, battery life span the 3000.
I played on it for 3 days without the need for a recharge! My 3000 would only last 1 day.
CFW can be designed, it’s a mater of using HEN in order to load CFW!!
Hacker – hope your work is going well, I agree with r!07ac – DON’T PUBLISH ANYTHING! Wait until you have a basic exploit and HEN working, then the sky’s the limit for CFW’s!
Hope everything goes well, and the above doesn’t mean you can’t say whether you’re getting closer or not – just don’t reveal your info!
Sony are watching this site like a bitch, so be weary of anyone asking for info from you! Only talk to those you trust.
Also, lets hope that TT are going to release their exploit and that they just have some software issues!!!!
Goodluck!
February 13, 2010 at 9:24 am
i agree. the battery life isnt all that bad to complain about. For people that don’t particularly understand the priority of hacking a psp goes, its best to get an exploit working to load a HEN or eLoader. Otherwise just making cfw is useless without either one of the before mentioned. I highly doubt TT will release their work. They seem quite adamant about never releasing it, which is just fine with me. Whoever made a comment saying their excuse for not releasing their work was because it was incomplete was probably feeding porky-pies…
February 12, 2010 at 4:53 am
Thanks for everyones positive take on my advice.
@ Whoever, it would be best for you to take your work to lan.st, which is a devs / programmers website for you to pour your work with them. Be warned though, lan.st is a site dedicated to top notch and serious hackers so no n00bs are allowed. You will be flamed if you are a n00b thats begging/kissarsing/brownnosing, asking n00b question or being a total n00b. If you can understand what the people there are saying and you feel comfortable with their league then you can always get your work peer-reviewed there. This forum here isn’t exactly a productive environment and posting here only gets you publicity and nothing else (if not nuisances). If their league and expertise is overwhelming you can gather some minimal/basic jargon and the works from ps2dev.org. This applies to anyone that wants to get more involved in the psp-scene and try and understand how exploits and hacking work. gl
February 13, 2010 at 3:35 am
ok, thanks! … let’s see if I can work with their pace..
well, one can assume that he’s not a n00b on this if he’s been working on one of the world’s largest bank
as a system administrator for four years and had tinkered with the company’s server from time to time, right?
But this will be my last post for now, I’ll post something here if I’m done with my project for the GO..
Good Luck to all the hackers!!
February 13, 2010 at 4:27 pm
oh yeah, don’t forget to pop by and let everyone here know if you’ve hit a deadend too. Theres no disgrace in admitting it. You should have the decency and courtesy. You’ll get the respect for trying. Its a lot better then just drifting out and turning your back on the community that supports you.

Has anyone tried using someone elses redemption code to obtain another 3 games or are they specific to the account ?
February 15, 2010 at 4:15 am
just to put this out there, ive seen a lot of ppl complain about themes not working on 5.03 gen c. just as a quick note to help someone who may be able to use this note, what you need is to download the fake cxmb-you dont need the ctftool gui-just use the converter in the cxmb. all you need is 5.00m33 themes (ctf-not flash). do not put the theme via drag and drop directly into the converter file itself, what you will want to do is drag and drop the file into the file with the converter (not in the converter itself) when you have all themes in the folder then you double click the converter and it will say patching file…done with success…press any key to continue. then put the theme on ur psp. you have to go back to ofw, reinstall henr2, then gen c for it to read the themes. (you dont have to install a or b-you can directly install c) most of all themes work-take note though that some themes dont, those can be deleted off the mem stik because they are no good for gen c.it will freeze if no good.
February 15, 2010 at 4:16 am
fuck offff………….you all dumb ass here in our place the psp go is now hack and it runs team “gen”5.70 gen b
February 15, 2010 at 4:24 am
for a lot of dumb ppl im curious where the hell you been-b is old, and the latest that has been released to the public are 5.50gen d3 for 1k and 2k models and 5.03gen c for t88 and 3k models. (ill be honest im not totally sure of go being im a 3000 user) nevertheless-5.70 is nonexisting, and the nect firmware is focused on 6.xx because we already have a 5.xx that plays all isos up to 6.xx-so why bother with 5.70(which does not exist)
February 15, 2010 at 7:25 am
stfu troll. you know you’re one.
February 15, 2010 at 3:49 pm
to assassination2010, 5.70 does exist its the stock firmware on the go. just letting you know
February 15, 2010 at 9:13 pm
mrgrim…ya thanks for the update, as i stated i dont know much on the go-but the way he stated “gen”5.70-seemed as if he was saying there was a 5.70 firmware-which ive never found such a thing-only stuff on gen 5.03 and 5.50 and that the next is planned to be a 6.xx (wanted to reply mostly to the “dumbass” offend mostly being that i dont see him coming out with anything helpfull or worth having to be honest)-least the others are putting forth something-like whoever and r!07ac. i just hate ppl who talk shit and dont come up with shit themselves, know what i mean
February 15, 2010 at 9:24 pm
after re-reading his statement, i admit i was a bit out of place being i misunderstood his statement-nevertheless i still stand by what i said about the 5.50 and the next is focused on 6.xx-the biggest thing that i was thrown off by was the gen b being that we are all the way up to c (or d3 if your 5.50)-anywho, you all get it all so ima quit typing bout nothing-thanks for the update though-so mybad.
February 16, 2010 at 7:44 am
dont worry about it assassination2010. You are correct to say there is no such thing as a 5.70 GEN, thats what i thought too when i read the troll’s post. The next GEN release would be in the 6.xx, my guess is 6.10 because it has already been done. Thats not to say a 6.20 cfw isn’t possible, not with all the news firing up the scene. 3 confirmed working exploits on 6.20 in just 2 weeks.
February 17, 2010 at 3:09 am
true-the funny thing i find is that sony is doing all this work to stop firmware and its their own stuff causing it-like the umds and as you stated 3 things found for 6.20-and i know two were from gamesave exploits…like using sony’s material against them, lol
February 17, 2010 at 3:10 am
but the question is.. will they all work on the Go?
February 17, 2010 at 5:36 am
pspjoke’s was a universal exploit. im not sure about flyer’s. Mamosuke’s was done on a 2000
February 17, 2010 at 12:53 pm
hi i got a question:
i will be getting an psp go!, do you guys think it will be better to buy an 3000 or the go!, can i download game for go from net..??
February 18, 2010 at 3:19 am
yes you can. in fact you can download games with the 3000 also. but this depends what games you want to download. the go currently can only access the PSN whereas the 3000 (depending if it’s hackable) can download from the PSN or download from other websites.

that means i have to purchase the game..?? i cnt download it for free..??
n thnx fr d info r07ac..
February 19, 2010 at 3:09 am
well that depends. A hacked psp can play games for free, (thats piracy btw). But an unhacked psp you will need to pay for the games. youre welcome.
February 18, 2010 at 5:38 pm
hi guys been a while since i posted! How\s things going on with the exploit development? I keep hearing of some guy in Germany who’s got the hack working and distributing it to people who can ‘acquire’ his contact details!!! But as so far, no luck for me! I searched google and nothing.
It seems as though if you’re experienced with psp code then the exploit shouldn’t be too hard to achieve! And also, it must have been with one of the earlier games released on the psp and there wasn’t that many available for download!!
Hope all’s well, and keep us updated!!
February 18, 2010 at 6:39 pm
Hi i just got my psp go and it comes with firmware 5.70. Should i update or do i ruin any chance of using an expoit on it then?
February 19, 2010 at 3:11 am
you are at a crossroad. if you were to update you’re psp to 6.20 you have a lesser chance of hacking the Go. There are a few people working on a 6.20 exploit atm and its going quite well but i wouldnt chance it on 6.20. But unless you update you’re pspgo, you can’t do anything on it except for music, videos or web browsing.
February 19, 2010 at 7:01 am
so pspgo can be hacked or not..??
February 19, 2010 at 7:52 am
not yet. best to go with 3000 if you don’t want to wait.
February 19, 2010 at 5:04 pm
yep noticed that i couldnt do anything so i updated it coz maybe we wont se any breakthrue for a long time.
February 19, 2010 at 7:57 pm
i thnk i wil wait..coz i like psp go more..n thnx for d help r07..:)
February 20, 2010 at 1:17 am
here is the deal to people who cant decide on a psp 3000 or a go. the 3000 up to date is hackable but only for 5.03 (5.03genc is the latest for the time being)-as far as the go goes it can be hacked but not for 6.20, neither can the 3000 at 6.20. there are some exploits for 6.20 but are still in the developeing stage-i recomend not to update if you want firmware. everytime you update its just more patching and longer youll have to wait for firmware and as well you decrease your chance of getting firmware. the 3000 and go are pretty good, though in my opinion the 3000 is much better being it can play umds (which can be copied with firmware so you won’t have to download and risk getting busted) and its not as fragile as the go, plus it has a larger screen (the resolution on the go and 3000 are the same-ive played both the go and 3000 and the overall resolution is the same-scan lines are no problem case you were wondering cus of the cotroversy about the 3000 in the past compared to the 2000
February 20, 2010 at 1:23 am
the question of whether or not the gamesave exploit for 6.20 will work on the go, well im not a file decrypter or anything near the area-i just try to keep ppl updated-but i will say that i think it would work on all psps cus all 6.20 firmwares have the same files-but then again im stuck on the same question because though the files might be the same-it depends on the motherboard i presume…i mean, if it were all the same then 5,50 gen d3 would work on the 3000 but it doesnt so guess we’ll have to wait and keep out fingers crossed-all i can say is good luck to those working on it and we hope for the best fitmware has to offer!
February 20, 2010 at 9:48 pm
they found four save state exploits
February 21, 2010 at 2:05 pm
proof?
February 21, 2010 at 2:07 pm
you mean game save exploits? then yeah, im sorry i know about them. i misunderstood it as being an exploit with the pause game function. carry on
February 22, 2010 at 2:53 am
guys i have a question-i just sold a psp 3000 to a friend and hes had it about 3 weeks now. the proplem is now the psp has lines going horizontal across the bottom of the screen that are there in the xmb and the games…he says the lines change colors from green to red, its version 6.20 so its not hacked, is there a way to berid of the lines so the screen works fine again or will he need to buy another screen. we tried resetting the default settings, take battery out and reset psp, turn power off then back on fast (as instructed by youtube with these problems), and change color space to normal then back to wide after resetting default settings-so what can be done to fix it?
February 22, 2010 at 4:48 am
that a problem thats happens to alot of the 3000 it has nothing to do with the update or the software its just how the screen is
February 22, 2010 at 7:52 am
yup. buy a new screen. 3000 had a lot of trouble with these scan lines, where 2000 had problems with ghosting.
February 22, 2010 at 12:31 pm
The PSP Go doesn’t have any of those problems. Ka-ching!!!
February 22, 2010 at 12:33 pm
Would be near perfect if it could have CFWs installed. bluetooth.. gooood! wifi.. gooood!!! smaller… goooood!!!
what’s not to like?
February 23, 2010 at 9:55 pm
maybe this question has been asked.. will it be hacked?.. i know people are working on it and i can wait, im in no rush but im trying to decide which one to buy.. i really want to pspgo but if it looks like its never going to be hacked than ill go and get myself the 3000.
February 26, 2010 at 1:35 am
could someone help fill me in on the story, ive done a lot of researching on 6.20 cfw. prooblem is im getting a lot of nothing-there is talk of 6.20m33-2, 6.20***-001/002 in japan, and all this differ stuff. so whats the real deal, is a 6.20 planned to be released soon or is it more ppl with more fakes-im a bit lost after reading of all the differ stuff going on. thanks.
February 26, 2010 at 6:28 am
anything posted regarding a 6.20 cfw (M33-2 or MAD) is all fake. ive been following just about all the news for the last 4 months and i can tell you that there is no solid evidence a 6.20 cfw will be released. You may have heard that there have been a few exploits found on 6.20 though, 1 has been patched and the other two are still being worked on, but privately to no public eye. Those 3 exploits are legit (pspjoke, flyer, mamosuke) but we there is no indication of any progress for the last few weeks. The aim of the exploit is to be able to get an eLoader or HEN happening. As far as a 6.xx cfw is concerned, our best chances are with team GEN, although it will most likely result in being a 6.10 GEN-A. Basically it has all been talk and speculation and nothing substantial. 6.20 CFW does not exist at this point.
February 26, 2010 at 8:57 am
hi ppl U can hack a psp with ofw 6.10 with Archer Maclean’s Mercury UMD..this is the exploit used by team typhoon.ofw 6.20 is now patched and the UMD is also patched..So u need a psp with ofw<6.10 and the Mercury UMD with mfg date <nov 2009. Orelse no Cfw for u as far as now
February 28, 2010 at 8:39 pm
Hey I found someone who has finally hacked the psp go. Form what he says you can play iso and homebrew, I tried it myslelf but it wouldn’t work. Every time I tried to install it it said error no psp go system found. The video is pretty new and not alot of people know about it. If you want to find it heres the address http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_Z9eB2UNvQ. Also if this hacked worked for anyone because it works on all firmwares please tell me what I’m doing wrong because I’m trying to get this hacked badly!!!!!
February 28, 2010 at 8:57 pm
Hi guys just posting again to see if there’s been any progress so far? Haven;t seen a post from Hacker in months and his website has closed down. Is this linked to some sort of progress? Or have they been busted?
I browse the web every day, looking for some improvements, but still getting the same hits and nothing has pointed towards any developments.
Is this it? Maybe the go is much for new hackers to take on?
Lets hope we hear from someone in the next few months!!
Good luck to all of you who are working hard on this!
February 28, 2010 at 10:13 pm
Um, never had a site…but, a little progress from me, dont know about anyone else. I found a possible exploit in a game, not gonna say which though…never turns out well…
March 1, 2010 at 11:14 pm
ive heard news that alex is helping gen with 6.20cfw…curious how much i should bet its a fake memo, lol. anyway…also heard that noob81 (beleive is his online used name) is helping pspjoke, thats good news to my ears because ive used noob’s things before and they worked pretty good..there is hope, just need time-it also crossed my mind for those who know how to manipulate files, what if it were possible to use sony files for ofw update to make the psp read as an update-then instead of ppl updating to 6.20ofw, it will be 6.20cfw(it will just say 6.20ofw while it is installing then 6.20**** after it is installed) then after it is on the tampered files will be able to install a loader or a perm firmware that acts as a ofw.
March 2, 2010 at 12:30 pm
what happens if i install a game someone else has downloaded into the game file and then also their license file into the license folder. Are the license files specific to each psp , surely there would only be 1 license for the game to work and if so is this the best way of going forward ?
Just a suggestion ?
March 2, 2010 at 3:07 pm
it wouldnt work. i think each license is specific to each psp. There is a special license generator that recognises SONY’s signature. If we could obtain it then we could use it all the time and we wouldnt need to hack the psp anymore.
Besides, when people have an idea its best to try it themselves. Sometimes you are not the only person to think of it. If the average joe can think of it, wouldnt the elite have tried it already?
March 2, 2010 at 3:20 pm
So then each license code must be different ? , each account issued and the codes stored on PSN server ?
I totally agree to the Elite comment , i have been searching all day for a rif code for a game i already have to see if they are the same but to no avail.
I have daxter , resistance retribution , ratchet and clank and assassins creed bloodlines by the way.
March 3, 2010 at 7:15 am
How about action replay from Datel??? it didnt came from sony…. how did they got it signed??? :S
March 3, 2010 at 8:10 am
@Maurico. From what most people believe, Datel has somehow managed to obtain the SONY’s signature through all sorts of methods, reverse engineering and encrypting and decrypting the pre-IPL etc. They have the money, the machines and the brains to do it. The homebrew community only has the brains, hence why its harder for us.
March 2, 2010 at 11:57 pm
I’ve been working on your concept Mr. Guru and I’m still not able to decipher the source code of each licenses.
I have known a few people who’s working on the same thing and so far we haven’t share our own ideas yet but we’ll get there soon.
“Deciphering licenses, I believe, is much simpler than creating custom firmwares if you just want PSP games on your device.”
+++Please don’t put your hopes up on this guys, ok? I don’t want to be smothered by other people’s whining. This will be done when it will be done. Okay? +++

for one thing, i think deciphering the license is illegal. tinkering with the licence is SONY’s material, whereas cfw is created by your own. you won’t really get much help from most dev sites since they are fussy about the illegal procedures. Having the licence wouldnt require you to even make cfw because by attaching all apps and pirated games with the licence would allow the psp to run it. CFW allows unsigned programs to run.

I agree , wether it’s the license or the firmware everyone if truthful wants their unit to do the same thing and we all know what that is ….?

hahaha – as a hacker i want just give a big LOL to team typhoon because, there is no problem if they wont release their exploit or what ever it is. the proof of concept is really enough for any eligible hacker who can exploit it. that it self gives the information and inspiration that there is possibility to hack this crap made by sony and – hackers never miss lead anything, they just warm up the company which made that something.
and some thinks that releasing this causes the gaming industry fall.
no it cannot, why because what the fuck are the companies doing? can’t they at least provide security for their own product??? if so thats too bad.
till now i was very busy in doing some other works. now i will put the fire on psp go which i just bought it.
and guys, don’t worry, i am not a fool like some one who did not release the exploit , i always want to challenge the big companies who think they are leaders. hahaha
so as soon as i make it, i will release it fully – in each and every website, where ever possible, because i want each and every one use that so that sony gets some real work done

Good to hear Bob!! Another hacker on the case is what the world of psp go needs!
Hope you can get this go popped and open so we can all use it to it’s full potential!
Another note on the license issue – Datel must have left a signature trace in his program, isn’t there a way of locating it and using it for the go? like you said r7, if this is available then we wont have to bother with HEN and CFWs!!
If I’m wrong then sorry guys, good luck hacker and good luck bob!

March 7, 2010 at 3:07 am
sorry you can’t. Those games were registered under his psn account. as soon as you log on with your account all of his old games get wiped. its to prevent game sharing.
