This is a well done video from the iFixit team, teardown of a PSP Go. Might be useful for users looking to see exactly how to open up their PSP Go. It give a clear step by step look at how to open the PSP Go and strip it apart. Maybe this might become something of a must (Opening the unit) to fit a mod chip so we can play our old UMD games, Emulators, Homebrew games and Applications.

I suppose opening up the system to get to the logic board doesn’t seem too hard.
If it ends up needing a modchip, I may go that route.
One of the reasons I’m getting a PSP Go at launch… I don’t plan to ever upgrade the firmware beyond what it comes with in the box. Hopefully it’ll become hackable soon.

Well, At least We know u can switch out the battery… but opening it voids any warranty. It would be strange modding a chip onto this thing. Because of its size…

ola kiero dar una ida aver si c puede ps para el psp 3000 5.50 lo s q entiendan español y lo traducire al ingles
1.modificar el nombre del archivo 5.03 por que se llama eboot..php (formato de firmware que lee el psp )no me acuerdo pero asi era y q lo modifiken para q la psp lo lea como 6.20 pero seguira siendo 5.03 aver y asi actualizarlo al 5.03 pero llamandose 6.20 respondame si pueden hacer esta idea
1.change the file name is called 5.03 by eboot.php (format firmware that reads the psp) so I do not remember but it was and the psp q amended to read as 6.20 but it will remain to be 5.03 and the 5.03 update as well but 6.20 calling contact me if you can make this idea
