PSP 6.20 firmware save game exploit has been released leaked by Malloxis, something he wasn’t meant to do till the eLoader is good and ready. Anyway we know now the demo, its Patapon 2 and we also have Wololo’s hello world to go with it. I’ve tested this and it works fine, Hello world running right there on my PSP Go. Homebrew is just a step away? Or is it? We hope the actions of one person doesn’t effect an eLoader been made for this 6.20 save game exploit.
Here’s what you have to do to get it running on your PSP Go, Copy the edited save game UCUS98732_DATA02 folder to your save game data and then the demo to PSP/GAME on your mass memory. Remember to copy over the whole folder UCUS98734. Now the binary h.bin needs to be placed in your mass memory root.

Lol sony will find out either way, u think they dont know about any of the hacking sites, they check that and youtube daily. Truth be told either way sony cant do sqat about it unless u update your firmware. Get a ps3 or a PC game play it be happy dont worry about you psp for a while and it will pay off. Sony is being an ass in my opinion, they made the PSP GO! which i bought and it is a good product except for the fact that they made promises to re release all the games on the GO! and epicly failed in doing so. They can’t take the time to hire someone to put all the games on the PSN store? Thats dumb. I had no problem with OFW until they did that dumb shit, now i have save files for games waiting to be played again and cant until either Sony decides to get off their lazy ass or the GO! is hacked for CFW. All i want out of it is my Phantasy Star Portable back, but hey we all can’t have what we want huh? Well….atleast until CFW anyway lol.

we can hack psp go by using HBL AND NAND LOADER to backup the nand the then use another nand backup lets say 5.00 m33 nand and then restore it on psp go so the psp go will be in m33 and can load iso cso

Ok kids, today i’m feeling generous, since most of u dont know what google is ima try to make this simple and clean. 1) get patapon 2 demo with save data; 2) get HBL r85(half-byte loader revision 85); 3) follow the installation instructions (If u cant find that atleast by yourself something is wrong); 4) get roms and start playing. Anyway one thing that may not be in the instructions, after u put that save data for patapon 2 demo in your psp, if u by somechance played this annoying game and have a save file on that demo already delete it. Otherwise issues may occur. When u just have that save data file that was provided for u make sure when u boot game to choose “NO” at the screen that says No save data found, would u like to create one? No NO No NO No. Would You like to start game without saving anyway “YES” start game go to continue and u will see the save file is actually there. Load it. hit button to get to next screen, then hit R. Boots HBL load Emulator of choice then done.

Rodolfo i understand what you are saying, and im not saying that anyone is stupid but i’ve found numerous tutorials searching through google and youtube on how to do this step by step and have found many. Ok first of all Use HBL r85, if u already have it and installed successfully then what u need to do is check your patapon 2 demo save file. You may have the OLD one, so go to pspslimhacks.com and get the most recent one. I had the same problem before once when i started using HBL, thing is I had it installed wrong. Make sure your h.bin is in the ROOT folder (Beginning folder that has PSP, VIDEO, MUSIC, etc.) then have your hbl folder in the ROOT as well. That’s pretty much it, the only explanation is that either your stuff isnt in the ROOT or it is outdated. The rest is pretty much straight foward. Oh and when you get SNES, GBA, N64, etc emulators for the psp, Make sure they go in the PSP/GAME folder.

Shifty I have been checking all of the HBL revisions to find one compatible with PSX-P (PS1 emulator) However not much progress yet. Perhaps in the future this will be possible, but if it does somehow become possible note that the only thing that you will lack is sound since they never made it to support sound because CFW allowed the use of PSX isos full speed after that.

Hello Guys. I had the same problem guys with the psp go shutting down after I press R. It happened to me before and after i upgraded to firmware 6.20 . Do the solution is to have 6.20 HBL r85 and delete the original patapom game and all it’s saves. Install the Patapom game into ur psp from the link provided in the HBL r85 hack page. download the save from the wesite as well.
Now when u click R a selection screen will pop up 98% of the times. As for the emulators make sure to try all of them. Go to this website 3roms.com and download all the emulators and roms u want. I only tried about 10 snes emulators before i got it 1 to work. Some of them even had the same name (1 worked the other didn’t). Roms are not all compatible either. so you have to try them. I downloaded 2 different roms for same version of mario both worked but one of them had graphics flaws.
I did not try other emulators but I think that ps1 or psp games are not hackable yet with the r85. So if you want to enjoy ur psp go for free enjoy snes games for now and be thankful to God.

Sorry for double posting didn’t see your comment. The GO! is currently being worked on being hacked. Not much information can be disclosed at this time however people have been able to access Flash: 1 using PSP Filer through the Half-Byte Loader. Flash 1 however is only system settings for the most part however it is progress because it allows access to Kernal Mode, which hasnt been done yet on the GO! until now as HBL is only User Mode. No offense to the Admins on this site but a lot of information is lacking on the whole hacking scene for the PSP GO!, however i will be keeping everyone up to date as much as possible.

SNES 9x Ver.003 (SNES) , UOgpSP Kai 3.2 user 64M test02 (GBA) both work for HBL r85. For GBA if you are having issue make sure when u HAVE GBA Bios and also if the FPS isnt working right and seems slow go to (Graphics and Sound options) and turn Frameskip type: off, because the Default is set to 9 for some reason.

For all those having FREEZING issues when you hit R. Make sure the HBL folder and h.bin are in the ROOT ( Same place as the PSP, MUSIC, VIDEOS, PICTURES folders). Either one of two things are your problem:
1) HBL is not correctly in the ROOT of your PSP (which is the 9/10 scenario)
*Problem is when you hit R its loading looking for HBL and is finding nothing there. So if it freezes its usually this issue.*
2)You have the old save file, or have a normal save file for Patapon 2 demo.

No, csos and isos are a CFW feature, which CFW achieved through Flash: 0 (Kernal Mode).
HBL uses only User Mode which currently only allows the use of homebrew.

Rodolfo it is true that HBL r90 is released currently, however it is not a recommended release due to the fact that it is still a work in progress and they are going through some bugs, but yes it is available to the public, it’s just that it’s still in test phase. Nothing really worth upgrading to as of yet.

No, that is a CFW trait to be able to play psp isos, HBL is for homebrew only atm. I doubt it will ever enable anything like that because most likely someone will develop CFW for the go using HBL before that happens.

Well CFW isn’t really the main issue at this point in time. Before even thinking about CFW, first Flash: 0 needs to be hacked. Once you have access to Flash:0 you can make the downgrader which would lead to CFW. In terms of that I really don’t know at this point in time, people are working on it but its probably not going to be anytime soon.

It’s very rare that anyone has the old save data at this point. Just make sure HBL is in the ROOT folder and you should be fine.

Guys i will remind you do not update to OFW 6.30. HBL has been patched in the new firmware however it does seem that PSPGO 6.20 is enabling some sort of emulation system also for those who don’t know.

As i said before, noone really knows at this point in time. There are people working on it but no noteworthy progress on it as of yet. Like I said they Flash: 1 has already been accessed so seeing as they have already access Kernal all that needs to be done is finding a way to access Flash: 0. Once Flash: 0 is accessed then you can start expecting CFW.

First of all by even mentioning 6.30 everyone in this forum will tell you that it won’t work AT ALL. The HBL is working on 6.10 nd 6.20. UPGRADE to 6.30 because you won’t be able to run emulators on it nd also because it has been proven that CFW 6.10 GEN A exists!!! I don’t know about 6.20 since my psp go has stayed at 6.10 since I got it.. CFW is on it’s way… So just relax and play Doom and Killer instinct, and super Mario world emulation .. GRIMM- u know of a better N64 emulator for the HBL cuz the one I have makes the games lagg like a motha fucker .. Tried playing conkers bad fur day and It was a nightmare..?

Ok well i’m not going to say that its not possible to use HBL with 6.30 due to the fact that 6.30 has already been cracked through another exploit, however this is not and probably never will be released to the public, due to the fact that it is a PSN store game, which can be patched without updating firmware. So the best advice i can offer you now is that you will have to wait and see what happens, possibly considering the fact that Sony is opening their own emulation system it seems, then it may be possible to exploit that in some manner, but like i said, now you will have to be patient, and if you can’t just sell it or exchange for a psp 1000 – 3000.

I don’t know you but I can be pretty sure no one told you to go out and buy a psp go and if you dont have one then why are you even on this website. As for hearing bullshit, the GO hasn’t even been out a year but we can run emulators,It took almost twice as long to get the psp1000 to do that.
