We got our PSP Go on the 2nd of October and straight away got onto the PSP Go rewards. Since I’m now in Europe this applies to us. (Sorry USA users don’t get the 3 free games). The first offer is if you get the PSP Go before the 10th (midnight) you get Grand Turismo free. So hurry there are only 5 days left for the GT offer. The second is if you upgrade from another UMD drive PSP you get 3 free games for a list of 18 to choose from. These are full games. Not demos.

Were going to download, Resistance: Retribution, Wipeout Pure and SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs: Fireteam Bravo. Ok so all you need to do is login first with your PSP Go to PSN download the special theme in PSP Go rewards. Make sure you register it.
Then disconnect your PSP Go. Boot up your PSP-1000, PSP-2000 or PSP-3000 and log-in PSN with the same account as used for the PSP Go. Then make sure you have a UMD game in the PSP UMD drive. Go to the PSP Go rewards in PSN and you should then see a prompt to sign up for the 3 free game offer. See the screen shoots below of this.

Once you download the special PSP GT theme and activate it you will eventually get you code in your email inbox and you can download Grand Turismo for free. We got our code today, for GT and the 3 free games. So 4 games free with our PSP Go. Not bad right?
- It took 3 days for the redemption PSN PSP reward codes to arrive so you have to be patient its not instant!

nope. It requires both your PSPGo and previous PSP versions to both have OFW 6.10 i believe.

By “it wont work” do you mean the redeem code isnt valid or that the code hasnt been received?
Have the PSN ever sent your email any advertisements? Because if not, then maybe you havent given them the right email address.

how long have you had your PSN account for?
Also, make sure you didin’t open a US psn account., because this promotion won’t apply to you.
Just to make sure, check your account details to see if your email is right.

I applied for both the rewards games and the Gran Turismo offer a few days after I bought my PSP Go. (on release Oct. 1). I bought the PSP in Korea but used my UK account and a UK copy of Ratchet and Clank in my old PSP 1000. The entire process worked, but I never got either e-mail. It seems they are serious in limiting the deal to those who bought their actual PSPs in Europe regardless of your PSN account or UMDs. Bummer, but it figures.

THis doesnt work unless u have european games i got my psp from atl registered in uk n it wont accept my game it went as far as saying that it cannot register the game. so that sucks! n the usa playstation people say they cant give americans free games b/c of legal issues which sound like bullshit. we always get the short end of the stick.

@Momo, you need wifi internet. Once you do, get yourself a PSN account on the XMB and register. Once you are in the PSN, download demos for free. Otherwise you have to pay for other games.

yes you can. but their psp can’t be hacked and when you do use it, it needs to be updated to 6.20 OFW however.

@hopeskingS, im sorry the offer only applies to participating countries and USA is not one of them. Not to mention the fact you need UMDs that have either ULES or UCES code.

im pretty sure each psp can only be registered once. So even if anyone does have a UMD psp it won’t work unless they havent used the promo themselves. Also i doubt most people are willing to update to an unhackable firmware just so you could get your games. Sorry to break the news but this is the most likely event. I hope you realised all of this before you made your decision.

yup, i got a rockband unplugged redemption code when i bought my psp go. nothing’s wrong with him. and he’s expecting a redemption code as he mentioned. and he definitely has a clue as to how a psp go works.
