A new save game exploit is apparently out there, found by Maku. The above video demonstrates an apparent Japanese demo that is exploited when a save game is loaded. They have also found out how to run woloo’s SDK hello world. So what do you think? Is it a video and a good fake or could this one really be legit? Apparently its a non PSN demo, so Sony couldn’t patch it if they found out. And its Japanese that’s all we know.
The video does have a few things going for it, 1st off its recorded in HD. Normal faker videos are very poor qaulity normally recorded on a mobile phone in CIF res @ 15 fps and shaky. This isn’t too bad. Secondly he does exit to the XMB, showing us that maybe its not a video. However its dark and could be two videos edited together?
A second video was also posted by mamosuke. However he doesn’t exit to the XMB afterwards?
I guess we just have to wait and see if this will surface as a “real” Save game exploit.

first video look like it’s a psp 2000 or 3000 from where the green lights are located. Hope this is true, and not a FAKE ! ! ! !

at :11 it shows that he does touch the 0 button

1st video :
If people are going to fake at least make it realistic. The screen size is out of ratio and the positioning of the power light when screen in up position is out. Also if i’m not mistaken the go has a “bullet” shaped l.e.d power light and not circular though that could just be distortion.
Also why black the image out if not hiding something ?
2nd Video
Watch the fingers very carefully he doesn’t press any buttons and certainly does not scroll the bar his thumb is way above , no setting on my go to allow shoulder button scroll .

1st video is fake, just look at his fingers its in wrong position if is holding a psp go

Ok guys, 1st of all I suggest you read the video titles! The first video is just an exploit for firmware 6.20 – it doesn’t say for the go (only in the description can be used for go). So we can assume that he isn’t using a go, and it doesn’t matter. He’s just showing the exploit operating on the firmware.
The second thing to show is that we can’t tell at all if he’s pressing any buttons or not (2nd video), plus you can use the trigger buttons on the go to operate movement.
Thirdly, I saw a comment saying that on 0.11 secs he didn’t press the o button on the go, however I suspect that he did press it! The go buttons are very sensitive and don’t require too much power to activate the action. It’s still too early to tell whether or not this is a fake, however FFS please don’t come out accusing when 1) you have no proof; and 2) you’re blatantly just trying to voice an issue to complain on.
I understand your wanting for the go to be hacked, and the skepticism of any new potential exploits that may be around, however cussing wont get you anything anytime sooner. Best is to hope we get something from this.
Oh if you didn’t detect it from my writing, I think this is a real exploit, would like to see some further videos demonstrating xmb movement!!
Good luck once again!

Surely posting a video under the heading ‘ PSP Go Save game demo Exploit found and running user code? ‘ implies that they have found an exploit on the GO. We all know that there are many exploits on other psp, we aren’t really interested in those hence being on a PSP GO HACKS SITE, please note the sarcasm and emphasise on the last comment.
As i stated i couldn’t find a setting on my psp for shoulder button movement – if you insist there is a setting i stand corrected once i find it.
I truely would like there to be something legit about these videos but from my opinion i think these are fake from the various reasons i have listed , each to there own opinion , discussion is usually the best way of finding solutions after all.
I did have to take my go apart the other night because it had froze and needeed to remove the battery, funny there is a warranty void if removed sticker just like the xbox360 security label. Pandora battery exploit perhaps ?

You do know… the Hardware really doesn’t matter, its the SOFTWARE you have to hack. If he put a PSPgo firmware on a PSP 2000, pending a hardware exploit like the pandora battery, it should (in theory) still work on the PSP go. I would assume he did that first, then got it to work on the go (hence the second video).
March 23, 2010 at 4:13 pm
Also, if he DID get the pandora battery to fly on a psp go, thats even better news for us.
March 22, 2010 at 11:38 pm
that would be
SO HILARIOUS IF IT WAS A MERCURY EXPLOIT AGAIN
HAHAHAHAHAHA

I think it’s real, but I don’t understand how it says that the demo is not PSN? where else would it come from? isn’t that the whole shit thing about the GO? or am I missing something?

i honestly feel that anytime somebody releases a video about a hack we should take it seriously. it does no good to try and be the one that says because of this or that it is fake. by bashing these people you are not going to get anything. lets be supportive, and encourage them to release something we can use. when they fail to do so, then bash them. i think we have already missed out on 2 hacks because of bashing. if they do have it hacked and everyone is saying its a fake, OK we’ll just keep it for ourselves, i mean why do they have to share it with use in the first place?

April 13, 2010 at 11:29 pm
if it were a go, it should have a pause game option
April 20, 2010 at 6:55 pm
wrong. the psp go do dropped both select and start buttons to streamline the redesign. they have been replaced by quick keys for mp3 and web browser functionality. in short, the psp go can not pause games in any way shape or form. learn the facts before you troll n00b
April 26, 2010 at 5:05 pm
Thats not trolling, your troling, and he was refering to the in game pause n00b LOL

This video is not one of the PSP GO!! for those who have the PSP GO.. look at the right side of the video!! you will see the green light which all of us know means the PSP is on!! now grab you PSP GO and look on the video.. the green light is to far down even if the PSP Go was closed (when the PSP GO is closed the green light is more in the middle across from the screen).. now if the PSP GO is open the light would be WAY far down more then this video shows!!! SO THIS IS DEFF NOT A VIDEO OF THE PSP GO!!!! if you dont think im right check it out for your self.. look at it before clicking to play the video!! lol
June 28, 2010 at 2:19 am
